Welcome to Waypaper 👋
We're a happy bunch of remote humans, scattered across time zones and continents, united by a shared passion for building thoughtful, user-friendly tools that actually make life easier for our customers.
Everything we build is shaped by real feedback, real needs, and real conversations with the people we're building for. We're not here to chase trends or add features for the sake of it — we care deeply about creating experiences that feel seamless, purposeful, and even a little magical.
Want the full scoop on Waypaper's journey? Keep reading — and say hey to the team.

Our story
Waypaper began in 2024 as a personal project by our founder, Harry Northam. While working full time, Harry set out to deepen his development skills — but also wanted to solve a real problem. He started thinking about how businesses could be more visible online, and how a simple, unified space could help them manage their presence and communicate more effectively with clients.
What began as an idea for a business profile tool soon evolved. As Harry's understanding of web development grew, so did the project — features shifted, merged, and matured into what Waypaper is today. From humble beginnings to a fully-fledged platform, Waypaper has grown organically into a tool that our customers love and rely on every day.
We've come a long way, and we're just getting started.

Meet the team making it all happen
Behind every feature, fix, and customer conversation is a passionate group of people working across the globe. We're proud of the culture we've built — one that celebrates diverse voices and collaborative thinking.

How we got here
Registered the domain
The domain waypaper.com was registered with a view to building a business marketing tool.
Learning of frontend frameworks
If Waypaper was to become a reality, some knowledge of frontend frameworks was required. Next.js was chosen as the framework of choice.
Beginning of development
Development of the first version of Waypaper commenced. Starting with a simple profile page, and then adding more features along the way.
